Meetings and events are organised
throughout the year. Some have a campaigning theme,
such as promoting Mild in May, while others are simply
social.
Meetings take place in a pub that sells some decent
beer (usually, but not always, this will be a Good
Beer Guide-listed pub). If you can't find us, ask the
landlord. We are always keen to hear from pubs that
sell decent beer and are able to offer room for us.
Branch meetings
are relatively formal, they follow a set agenda and
involve discussions of current campaigns and
communication from CAMRA HQ. Details of events are
given out. The events may be pub crawls, visits to
breweries or far-flung pubs, or sometimes something a
little more adventurous. If you're a new member coming
along for the first time you will be welcomed at
either meetings or events.
